Gould Campbell is part of the Symington group, along with Warre & Ca., S.A., W. & J. Graham & Co., Silva & Cosens Lda., Smith Woodhouse and Quarles Harris. The company was founded in 1797 and has a long history of quality sports. They still make good wine, as is often proven in blind tasting, but have been falsely downgraded to the category of lesser brands. Even at Symington's PR department, they are described as one of the second-tier brands.
